Lovely to be here on this sunny weekend at
1ST CC & BOB BENEST’S MARDENKA MEVANNA 12.6.06 Lovely type and balance if a tad tetchy! Round head with neat well spaced ears, short broad straight nose, good large open pale orange eyes. Level bite and chin of good depth with chubby cheeks. Cobby body with short thick legs and rounded paws. Short dense coat, mite soft, fractionally darker blue to the patches than I would like, also a little silvered at the tips, slightly warm cream with some ghosting. Good balance of patching to just over 1/3rd white. Fully coloured tail that is broad at base and tapers to a rounded tip.
TIPPED KITTEN MALE
1ST & BOB MCEWEN’S GREENDALE MONSTER MUNCH 2.7.08 Good sized lad of sweet disposition. Nicely rounded head, balanced with his well developed body and short strong legs. Tail a tad yellowed but balanced in length. Good green to centre which I hope spreads to the rest of his eye, but they are a little straight across the top. Short straight nose, bite is level chin ok. Coat is short and fairly dense, a little kitten woolly still but lengthens down the spine. Fraction uneven tipping and some tabby markings I hope clears. Good bone.
AC SELKIRK REX KITTEN
1st & BOB HUELIN’S CURLU MADDIE (79s21) F 14.4.08 Promising Black-Tortie lass of very good size and weight, solid and well developed of excellent overall bone. Good breadth of head with full cheeks, nice expression to her large round eyes set wide apart. Very nice width between correct ears set well too. The muzzle is developing its shape and padding. Short downward slanting nose. Level bite. Curly whiskers and eyebrows. The coat stands well away from the body in a uniform mix of waves and curls mostly on her head, neck and tummy, just acceptably marginally straighter down her back. Good tail for shape and curls.
RED SPOTTED NEUTER
1ST PC & BOB LE JEHAN’S TUFTON RED PILLARBOX 7.8.07 Strapping chap of super type and conformation! Lovely broad head with very good width between neat ears. Large rounded orange eyes, just paling to the centre marginally. Short straight broad nose, level bite, pale lips and chin, chubby cheeks. Powerful body, solid and of excellent weight and muscle tone supported by short stocky legs and fat rounded paws. Lovely rich red undercoat with clearly defined deep red spots, a tad lined on one side. Thick well ringed tail, a lovely big teddy bear of a cat with a fabulous temperament.
BLACK SILVER SPOTTED NEUTER
1ST PC & BOB BIDMEAD’S COLLAMEAD HOLLY HOBNOB (FN) 25.6.05 Small but balanced and cobby lass with a lovely open typed face, large hazel toned eyes, broad nose showing fawning, level bite and chin of good depth. Good weight for size with short strong legs. Some creaminess to the legs and paws, not quite bright silver maybe hall lighting? Otherwise, good short dense crisp coat with good contrast to bright silver ground on back and sides against dense black spots with just some minor brindling. Spotty toes! Good tail rings.
AC BSH ADULT

1ST LEWIS’ COLLAMEAD SUGAR DUMPLING (16) 26.6.07 What a stunning cat! Best BSH Neuter and ran the kitten very close for best overall, she just wriggled a little at the moment of choosing and as the cats had to be out in front of all the exhibitors I decided it be best t leave her to relax. She has absolutely gorgeous type and balance and bone and in a way it is a great pity she is spayed as she would be very useful to the British blue breeding programme. Fabulous eye colour too.

AC BURMESE BREEDERS ADULT
1ST GALLIENNE’S GR CH TALIPAW PLAISIR DESOIE (27a) F 3.4.04 Small dainty lass but of nice weight and substance with slender legs and paws and tail is of good shape but is slightly short to balance and has a minor pip at the tip. Good width and depth to the wedge with a short nose but it rolls off at the tip. Level bite but the chin is slightly shallow although is level. Rather squared at the muzzle. Her ears are set wide apart and of forward tilt with rounded brow in-between but despite letting her relax she seemed to hold them a little high on her head. Large chartreuse expressive eyes of good shape and slant to nose, nice full lower line and set wide apart. Super soft blue toned close lying coat, just some brown tinge to her underbelly otherwise nice and even and has obvious silvering to her head, ears and neck and legs.
2nd GALLIENNE’S JANAMEL PLAISIR MAKEMYDAY (27a) M 28.7.05 Excellent size and weight with proportionate shapely legs and large oval paws, tail of good shape reaches shoulder with rounded tip. Short wedge of good depth and width at the cheeks, long nose though with fair break, level bite but the chin is shallow and muzzle is pinched. I would prefer his greeny chartreuse eyes set wider apart and larger with slightly more slant to the nose although the lower line is a good shape. I feel they are also a little deep set. His coat is a dark blue, not really describable as a soft toned blue, also has a brown tinge to it but does show some silvering on the head and body. For length and texture I would prefer it close lying and finer, it was quite harsh to touch today I am afraid.

AC BURMESE NEUTER NOT BRED BY EXHIBITOR
1ST PLAW’S CH & PR RAINSONG XABI ALONSO (27) MN 7.3.07 Excellent weight and muscle tone to this stylish lad, lovely balance overall too with shapely legs and paws and a very good shaped tail with paintbrush tip that balances. Super deep wedge of excellent depth overall and tapers to a blunt finish. He has slightly large ears broad at base, set well apart aside a gently rounded brow; good short straight nose with distinctive break in profile, level bite and chin of good depth. Typical large and lustrous pale chartreuse eyes, excellent shape and set wide apart. Rich glossy brown even coat except for a slight darkening down his spine, lays really well.
2nd HUTCHING’S GR CH TALIPAW BURLINGTON BERTIE (27b) MN 13.12.04 Mature lad, judged before on numerous occasions I am interested to see today his coat is less brindled and wondered if it was seasonal? He is a solid lad of excellent weight and muscle tone; he has a nice short blunt wedge of good depth and width at the cheeks, gentle rounding to brow, medium ears set wide apart and forward tilt. Slender shapely legs and large oval paws. Well shaped tail that balances with rounded tip. Good break to his short straight nose, slightly untidy but level bite with a level chin. Expressive chartreuse eyes of good shape and set wide apart but would prefer the lower line to be more rounded. Short fairly fine and close lying coat of reasonably warm chocolate ( I see from my notes his tone changes in differing lighting) but it is slightly uneven, although not as brindled as seen recently.
3rd. WATKINS’ CH & GR PR ADVERSANE ALFONSO (27b)
AC BURMESE ADULT CLUB
1ST. GALLIENNE’S PLAISIR PRESLEY (27b) M 14.12.06 Solid lad of excellent weight and muscle tone supported by shapely legs and large oval paws with good tail for shape, slightly thicker than medium, tapering to a rounded tip. Short wide wedge but has flattening to the skull between large broad based ears. The wedge tapers to a pinch but has good depth overall. Short straight nose with good break in profile. Level bite and chin. His pale yellow eyes are rather small for his head size and the lower line should be fuller to achieve a better Burmese expression. Dark chocolate coat that needs more warmth to the tone and is uneven on his back and not quite a gradual fade. He has smudges to his thighs and legs too.
