SAUNDERS’ PAPAGENA YESLOW WOLSEY 1.9.08 Excellent development to this
deceptively weighty lad with elegant shapely legs and large oval paws; tail is
of good shape but marginally short to balance, lovely paintbrush tip. Super
short wedge that ends bluntly of very good depth from top of head to lower jaw
and excellent width at the jaw hinge. Good width across the top of his head,
gently rounded brow between correct ears for shape and set. In profile the
break to his nose is good but the nose just rounds off at the very tip. Level
bite and chin of medium depth. Super coat texture developing, glossy healthy
sheen to it and it lays really well but in the light today seemed to display a
slight blue tinge to the face and legs otherwise a pleasing dove grey. Good
shape and set to eyes, wide apart and developing expression, colour of pale
yellow. Super temperament, very relaxed indeed!

KINGS’ KATSACUTE DREAM 10.6.08 Another well-grown chap also of very deceptive
weight with good muscle tone for his age, shapely legs and large oval paws. He
has a well shaped tail also a wee bit short to balance. Short wedge that tapers
to a blunt but pinched muzzle with fair depth and width at the cheeks for his
age as he is older. His straight nose is a trifle long with a fair break in
profile; level bite and medium depth level
chin. Large ears of good tilt and are broad at base that I would prefer
more width between. Very gentle rounding to brow. Coat is fairly short and lays quite well but didn’t have the
satin like texture of the winner, however, he also shows a bluish tinge to his
face and legs. His chartreuse coloured eyes are slightly small for his face and
are marginally straight across the upper lid, set fairly wide apart with quite
a well rounded lower lid but isn’t showing that expression I would hope to see
as he is older and has had more time to develop his type.

THOMAS’ MERINDA SEYSIANAMIA 10.8.08 Smaller baby that I deliberated on placings
for some time between the 3rd placed kitten in particular. Although
smaller for her age she is balanced. She is a good weight for her size, slender
legs and dainty oval paws. The tail is a good shape but marginally short to
balance. Her wedge is short and quite deep from top of head to lower jaw, quite
good width at the cheeks affording good spacing between her eyes. Ears are
fraction large, set wide apart a gently rounded brow. Colour is chartreuse, but
they have a good shape and slant to nose. Good break to her short nose, but it
marginally rounds off at the tip and has a very tiny bump. Bite is level
as is her
chin, good depth too. Her coat is stunning! Pale and even toned dove grey,
short fine and lays beautifully although it is slightly long.

BONE’S SYKRIS POETRY INMOTION 27.7.08 I preferred the type on this kitten to
the one above placed second. I down pointed her for her darker tones in the
colour and unevenness of coat today so it would be interesting to see how there
2 kittens develop as I suspect my decision could easily be reversed for 2nd/3rd.
A well grown baby too she has elegant legs and large oval paws, her tail is a
good shape with paintbrush tip, just about to balance. Short wedge,
good depth and width at the cheeks. Gently rounded brow between medium
forward tilting broad based ears. Good break to her short straight nose. Level
bite, chin of medium depth but just recedes marginally. Gorgeous expression to
her large eyes of correct shape and fullness, pleasing yellow in colour too.
The coat is quite short, fairly fine and lays well. Faint bluish tinge to her
masking and legs.

SKAMPAWS MORNING CLOUD 10.8.08 Sweet baby of fair weight for her size, would
prefer her to feel heavier. She is a dainty lass with elegant dainty legs and
small oval paws. The tail is a nice shape but short to balance. Her wedge is
short with good width at the cheeks but I would prefer to see more depth
overall at this age. Very good nose break but it rolls off and her muzzle tapers to a noticeable pinch.
Short baby coat still, even toned darker toned dove grey, lays well. Pale
yellow eyes of pleasing expression, nice fullness and size with gentle slant to
nose.

THEXTON&MARTINS’ BERRENGER HAMLET (30S) 21.11.07 Excellent balance and
weight to this solid well developed lad. Lovely British type and super eyes,
nice and round and light green. Level bite and chin with well filled cheeks.
Crisp short dense coat with a lovely dense black pattern and mid silver ground.
Some links to his spots on his sides but in the main well separated and a good
spine line. Slight fawning to his front paws otherwise nice and clear coated.

OCONNOR;S HUMBUG TOPPLESLAD (16) 15.9.07 Large heavy boned chap, huge head and
body and thick short legs. Short thick tail. Good type too. Pale gold large
rounded eyes. His chin recedes which does spoil the shape of his head but only
marginally. The bite is level but he has rather sore gums, a red line is quite
distinctive. Short thick tail. Coat is sound mid blue, dense and fairly crisp
to touch.

CONNEALLY’S TANYRALLT MILLY LE MINX (16)
15.5.08 Well, born on my birthday I see! She is a lovely girl, solid well built
and cobby with good short legs and tail broad at base that balances. Lovely
rounded head with good width between neat ears. Pretty expression, large round
orange eyes, just a mite deep-set.
Excellent fullness to cheeks. Level bite and chin of good depth. Pale
blue coat, reasonably short, texture developing, nice and sound to roots with
very little silvering.

HOLLOWAY’S WINDYMEADOW GOOD CHARLOTTE (40/10) 10.9.07 Mature lass, super
balanced body and head, good bone, tail balances. Round head shape, also good
width between ears marginally bigger than winners. Round mid blue eyes, short
nose, level bite and good chin and cheeks. Super mask shape, all points well
mingled, pale lilac but slightly warm cream. Lovely short dense crisp coat,
good contrast against her magnolia body colour. Very pretty girl, hard to
separate these two cats!

RONALDO SILVER PABLO (18) 2.4.08 Well grown chap, solid build and muscle tone.
Broad head with ears that he tends to bonnet but this want all the time, once
he relaxes they are fine. Fairly round hazelly green eyes, nice green spreading
well from the centre. Short nose, two tone leather, good cheeks and level bite.
Excellent coat for length and texture, quite dense too. Pattern is well
defined, good necklaces, oysters a tad elongated and brindled to centre,
straight trams, good contrast to mid silver ground.

BROWN’S KOLINGA BLUEABNCUSTARD (28) 26.5.08 Large well grown lass of very good
boning and balance. Apple head shape with very nice ears set and width between.
Round pale gold eyes. Fraction long but
very dense coat, soft to touch. Patchy areas of blue and warm cream, fairly
sound to roots, quite nice mingling to her coat but she does have a few patchy
areas.

Excellent weight and muscle tone to this huge chap! Sweet expression to
his face, pale gold fairly rounded eyes, nose a fraction long, level bite and
chin but squared off at the muzzle. Well filled cheeks. Big hefty body. Coat is
fairly short and dense. Pattern is made up of pale red elongated spots against
a reddish silver ground, fair contrast, probably seasonal as he is moulting.
Tail has quite nice rings to balance.
I sincerely
apologise to the exhibitors, my notes have been “catted” for these next 2
classes. One of my neuters was playing on the PC! Notes sketchy but I can see
my placings.
