What a fantastic show, many congratulations to Helen Marriott-Power and her fabulous team! I think my favourite bit was seeing Sean and Sue in their outfits! And Seans wig…well!
Great idea having the BIS event and have Kim Cutter whose wonderful reputation precedes him all over the world doing the Overall. I was honoured to be asked to do the Overall BSH, my choice was the stunning black lad Gr Ch Cheslo Easton Casper owned and bred by David Denny. My runner up was Pr Diwali Katalina who I in fact awarded the GrPR cert to today too, bred by Charis White and owned by a very proud Miss Harrison. I was very glad to have my close friend of many years Gerda Stanley stewarding for me, great company and handles the cats with ease!
AC PREMIER MALE
Nice big class thank you!
GR PR McGLASHLAN’S CH 7 PR GREENDALE JACK FROST (39) 6.4.05 Lovely balance to this chap with a stocky cobby body supported by short thick legs and fat round paws. Tail is balanced to body and broad at base. The head is apple shaped, superb width across the top of his head between neat ears. Lovely expressive large green eyes, well rounded and open. Short straight nose, level bite and good chin. Super chubby cheeks. Broad chest and flanks. Fabulous coat for a tippy! Crisp, fairly short and dense. Light even tipping that presented overall a very nicely balanced cat!
RES GR PR FARMER’S GR CH & PR FARJEM WHITE KNIGHT (14a) 8.10.06 Well known lad who I have admired and judged on many occasions, just lost out today on his coat being a tad flat, ran winner close indeed! Super apple head shape too, large but pale gold eyes, nicely rounded. Short broad nose, level bite and good chin. Excellent cheeks. Superb width across the top of head between medium broad based ears. Solid cobby body of excellent bone. His coat was pristine except for some yellowing at the base of his tail and just under the chin. The length is fine, texture is good but lay just a little flatter than I would like.
AC PREMIER FEMALE
GR PR HARRISON’S PR DIWALI KATALINA (28) 12.3.06 Really coming into her own now, she has matured superbly well since I recall judging her as a youngster, but then she is a BRIT and we all know its often worth waiting for! Balanced, cobby and solid lady of nice proportions of head to body. Round head with very good width between neat ears. Rounded profile, short straight nose, level but slightly untidy bite and chin is firm. Lovely fullness to cheeks. Broad chest and flanks. Pleasing British type, large well open orange eyes, nice expression. Super coat for length and texture, pale blue and cream well mingled throughout, very pretty! Sound to roots. 3 paws obvious for the two colours. Short tail well mingled.

BLACK ADULT MALE
BOB ONLY: DENNY’S GR CH CHESLO EASTON CASPER (15)
BLACK ADULT FEMALE
1ST CC CHANCE’S CHESLO FILBY HOPE 28.5.08 Rather a nervous lady, hissed at us quite a bit too. Lovely type and balance and seeing who her dad is I am not surprised. Super apple head shape, very nice width between neat ears. Lovely round orange eyes nice and large too. Short straight nose, level bite and firm chin but slightly squared in the muzzle. Excellent cheeks. Cobby, solid good weight and size. Short thick legs. Dense black coat, slightly soft to touch, sound to roots and short. Short fat tail. Glossy sheen to her coat, no sign of ghosting either nice and clear.
AOC SILVER TABBY ADULT MALE
1ST CC LEE’S SODACHICATS LAUXING ZUEDE (18d0 RED SILVER. 3.8.08 Lovely lad of very good size and weight for his age, very good bone to his legs, just standing a mite long and tall, he just needs to fill that frame out in time. Good breadth to the chest and flanks. Tail a fraction long but well ringed. Nice rounding to the head with plenty of width between fairly neat ears. Short straight nose, level bite and good chin with chubby cheeks. Large round gold eyes. His coat is short, dense and crisp. The pattern is a pleasing red against a pale red silver ground with positive contrast. Just a fraction brindled in places though. Good leg bracelets, 2 necklaces, thumbprints, all well defined. One oyster is better shaped than the other, straight tramlines and butterfly is just brindled on the outer wings thus losing some definition.
AOC SILVER TABBY ADULT FEMALE
1ST CC & BOB MILES’ TUFTON FRENCH KISSES (18e) 30.3.08 Very pretty girl indeed, I loved her type! Slightly small in overall build but balanced and cobby and of good weight and substance. Super apple head shape, excellent width between neat ears. In profile the head is rounded leading to a short straight nose, untidy but level bite, chin is firm and she has lovely full cheeks. Expressive gold eyes. The coat is short, dense and crisp. The tortie overlay is a mite pale and I would prefer it slightly more vibrant but the pattern is lovely! Good oyster shapes on both sides, butterfly clear, trams straight. Necklace and thumbprints. Spotty tummy. The pattern is a little brindled but you can clearly see its shape. Nice clean bright silver ground.
WHITE BLUE OR ODD EYED KITTEN
1ST & BOB PALMER’S TISHKABAR THE SNOWMAN (14b) 6.11.08 Fairly well grown lad of quite good bone and weight. Head is broad but tapers to a slight squared muzzle. Round eyes but they just tip up at the corners, pale blue and pale gold which has a green tinge around the pupil. Medium sized ears set fairly well apart. 2 coloured marks on his head which will need to disappear by the time he is an adult. Clear white coat, short and fairly dense, just lay slightly flat and soft. Tail to balance.
WHITE ORANGE EYED KITTEN
1ST (BOB N/A) BROWN’S LYNBRO KRYSTAL (14a) 22.10.08 Pretty kitten who is well grown and lovely look about her, sadly she is undershot, such a pity indeed! Round head shape with good width between neat ears. Short nose, round eyes of super orange, just prick up a tad at the sides though. Very firm chin. Good cheeks. Cobby body. Short dense coat texture coming, nice bright white. Good tail.
CREAM KITTEN
1ST &BOB POTTER’S KABENBE VANILLA SURPRIZE M 28.1.09 My book says “stunning” my take home kitten of the day! Gorgeous type, coat, bone, promising eye colour too, super muddy brown. Kitten coat, slightly woolly, beautiful shade of cream and sound to roots. Fraction spotty. Congratulations on his coat colour!
BROWN TORTIE
BURMESE KITTEN
1ST & BOB JARVIS’ KYMIAN BEATRICE 29.12.08 Alert young
miss who very interested in what was
going on elsewhere and what a super personality she has! Quite a nice overall
size for her age, good weight too, nice solid feel about her with slender
medium to long shapely legs and neat oval paws. Tail is a trifle fine,
balancing to shoulder and tapers to a rounded tip. Nicely rounded top of head
between medium gently forward tilting slightly generous sized ears, the outer
line of which continues the shape of the upper part of the face. Nice short
blunt wedge of promising width at the cheek bones and overall depth from top of
head to lower jaw. In profile the nose is short and straight until it rolls off
at the tip, the break is acceptable and she has a slight pinch to the muzzle.
The bite is correct and the chin which is of medium depth, is level. Her eyes
are a good size, a pleasing pale golden yellow but currently shows a faint
green tinge around the pupil. The topline very gently slant to the nose, the
lower being more fully rounded and they are set wide apart. Pleasing expression
developing. The coat is marginally
long, particularly down her back, the texture is developing nicely for her age
and lay very well indeed. Bright tortie colours of warm seal brown and various
shades of red, nicely mingled and an interesting predominance of reds which I
found rather attractive.

type and eye colour. Clear pale magnolia coat. Excellent length texture and
density!
2ND STUBBS’ IRACATS ASTERIX (IMP) (16) 1.11.07 Small but balanced lad with a super coat for
length texture and density, just a mite dark though. Neat little ears, would
prefer him more open faced, excellent deep orange eyes.

1ST HALL’S CATYKES
HARVEY SILVERMOON (18) M 18.11.08 Big lad who is well developed for his age and
solid and muscular. Round head but tapers to a squared muzzle and shows
fawning. Chin slopes back a tad. Good cheeks. Rather strong hazel eyes, green
in centre. Muddled oysters. Mid silver ground with good contrast. Short dense coat fairly crisp.
2nd. EDNEY’S ROCODANNE MAMMA MIA (20e) 30.1.09 Diddy baby.
Excellent eye colour and type. Short woolly kitten coat. The pattern is sadly
heavily brindled and diffused by the bright tortie overlay, I am looking for a pattern with mixed overlay, there is a
predominance of red fusing into the pattern which made the pattern slightly vague and it is also very
brindled.
AC BSH / SELKIRK RADIUS KITTEN
1ST BROWN’S ACRESWAY MOONKISSED (16) 16.9.08 Well grown baby,
