Lovely show
and hospitality, I was most grateful to Jette Birch who stepped in to steward
as my booked steward was ill. John and I
recently set up Loraston Pet Products and I was delighted to have the opportunity
to personally donate in conjunction with Nestle Purina various bags of their
dried foods to the Section overall winners and the Overall BIS. You could have
knocked me down with a feather when a lovely British neuter owned and bred by
Mrs & Mrs Hill, Cateloro Mumbo Jumbo, that I awarded the Best Neuter won
the BOV in section and then Overall BIS! Shirley Bullock had a tough choice as
a gorgeous Burmese owned and by Anna Virtue called Gr Ch Papagena Vera Boronel
bred by Patsy Yardley was runner up. Many congratulations to all!

very good weight supported by short well boned legs and tail is broad at base,

CROOK’S CH WICKEDWITCH LADY SOPHIE (40/9) 1YR 4MTHS. Large lass a tad long and
tall still needing to fill that frame of hers”! Very good bone indeed! Round
head with plenty of width between her ears but they are rather wide at the
base. Large round mid blue eyes, good nose and bite with nice cheeks. Coat is
slightly long and soft, moulting so it’s my guess she needs a good moult before
contesting the high awards. Nice mask shape, some tortie shading to her back,
warm chocolate and pale reds. Vibrant mingling, very attractive.

(BOB N/A) GRIBBEN’S CRAZIPUSS CALAMITY JANE (30S) 6MTHS.Slightly dainty lass of
quite good size and weight for her age but with wonderful spots! Her head is
fairly rounded, generous ears set well apart. Short straight nose, level bite
and chin of medium depth. Short slightly slender boned legs. Short fairly dense
coat, still very kittenish, soft to touch. Amazing spots! Various shapes but
very well separated indeed, spotty tummy and paws to. Sadly although her eyes
are well rounded they are gold, a very slight hint of green is in the centre
which I hope spreads in time and this was my only reason for not awarding BOB
today.

HOLLOWAY’S WINDYMEADOW NANI (40/8) BLUE-CREAM POINTED CRACKER! Well I might as
well just write the standard here, she is everything she should be! Super type and conformation and coat.
Beautiful matching well mingled points. Balanced and cobby of very good weight.
Level bite and good chin and cheeks. Excellent bone. Well done I could have put
her in my pocket!

WILLAMS’ CERINDACAT ROYAL EMPRESS (40/4) 7MTHS. My word she is a solid lump!
Very deceptively heavy for her frame. Head tapers to appointed muzzle, fairly
good width between her ears but they are broad at base and slightly bonneted
unfortunately. Short nose, level bite but her chin slopes back, nice cheeks.
Long and tall with slightly slender boned legs. Nice mask shape, points are
slightly differing in tone, a cool lilac with a bluish hint. Small eyes, nice
mid blue colour though. Her coat at present lacks density and lays flat. Out of
balance at present.

& BOB COLLINS’ CURLU PIPER (79l 40/4) 7mths. Nice looking baby nicely grown
and already has a correct rectangular medium length body shape. Round head wit
broad cheeks, level bite and firm chin. Whisker pads developing nicely when
viewed from the side. But from the front the muzzle is still merging slightly
and need to develop more of a rectangular shape. Curl whiskers and eyebrows.
Excellent coat! Semi ling loos unstructured waves and close curls all over.
Lovely ear furnishings and ruff. Tail has good plumage but slightly short to
balance the body. Nice mask shape of lilac although it is irrelevant in this
breed for points. Promising baby.

& BOB BOND’S ADNIOBU ARMANI ANGEL 4MTHS 3WKS. Well grown alert baby of very
good weight for her size and nice and solid with good rounding to chest and
slender legs and oval paws. Tail is a good shape to balance. Short wedge with
quite good width at the cheeks and overall depth, blunt finish, very slight
teething pinch. Good break to the nose
which is short and straight. Correct bite and chin of medium depth just recedes
a little though. Nice rounding to brow between generous ears that are set well
apart, broad at base and have a gentle forward tilt. Her coat is a little long,
kitten texture at the moment of course and lays quite well, minor brindling
evident otherwise it’s a warm even pale chocolate... Nice expression developing
to her pale yellow eyes that are set wide apart, and of good shape and size. A
little poppet!

BOND’S ADNIOBU PRADA PRINCESS 4MTHS 3 WKS. Litter sister to the winner and in some
ways very similar and other ways very different, I took my time placing these
two! Also a well grown baby of very good weight and solid feel about her.
Slender legs and neat oval paws. Her tail is slightly short to balance and not
quite as well shaped as her sisters. The wedge isn’t quite as short, not quite
as wide and not as deep from the top of head to the lower jaw as her sisters.
The forehead is marginally longer in profile and the wedge tapers to a fine
muzzle showing a distinct pinch, more so than her sister today. Her ears are
large, set fairly wide apart, gentle forward tilt and are broad at base. Her
nose is a fraction long, its straight but then rounds off at the very tip. Bite
is level with a level medium depth chin. The coat is shorter and lays close and
has a nice texture developing. Slightly darker chocolate, 1 feint necklace to
her throat. Her eyes are a lovely golden yellow, of fairly good size and shape
but are not quite set wide apart as I would like.

this lass didn’t show herself that well so we let her go back in the pen to

size. Round deep blue eyes, well done on this! Level bite and good chin with
full cheeks. Quite good bone. Mask a nice shape but tending to a bluish tone
lacks pinky hues. Tail is hotter in tones. Nice mingling to the points, a
little uneven though for tonal colouring. I would like to see the coat a little
more dense too, good length though.

Well grown lady of lovely type. Alert mature lass of excellent weight
for her medium frame with elegant limbs and neat oval paws. Tail of good shape
just marginally short to balance. Super short wedge that is wide at the cheeks
and has excellent overall depth, tapering to a blunt finish. Rounded brow
between correct ears for shape and set well apart with gentle forward tilt.
Distinctive break to her short straight nose, correct bite and chin. Her coat,

and of super satin like texture. Chartreuse eyes of lovely shape and set wide
apart giving that wonderful Burmese expression! A lovely lady!

many occasions from my notes she is a well built mature lady of excellent
weight and still retains muscle tone and body shape despite her age. Medium length
body with elegant slender legs and oval paws, her tail is a fraction fine and
just a tad short to balance. Super short blunt wedge of very good width and
depth, marginal pinch. Medium gently
forward tilting ears are set aside a gently rounded brow. Her nose is short and
straight with a good break in profile. The bite is level as is the chin. Her
coat is a lovely rich brown, shining with health, lays well, is fine but is
short in length. Pale chartreuse eyes of correct shape and fairly good size, set
wide apart. We had to wait for her to open her eyes properly which when she
did, improved her expression! Lovely temperament.

shallow receding chin and the muzzle is rather fine. His coat is fractionally
long, not really a gradual fade, dark hot cream and is uneven. Unfortunately he
also has a white locket to his throat. Large pale chartreuse eyes with a good
